Louis Vuitton Malletier is the founder of the famous brand Louis Vuitton, a luxury fashion house with a history of over 150 years. The label was released in 1854, when Louis Vuitton opened his own box-making and packing workshop in Paris. He expanded his work starting to create trunks in canvas instead of leather, launching in 1872, after the war, a trunk in a beige and red striped canvas. Soon he gained the reputation of a master luggage-maker.

In 1896, after his death, his son, George Vuitton creates the Monogram, fighting against copying the brand's models. The Louis Vuitton steamer bag it’s launched in 1901, followed by Keepal bag and Noe bag, conceived originally to carry champagne in a stylish way. In 1985, the Epi leather line is created. In 1989 the brand was famous worldwide, under the leadership of Vuitton grandson, holding at the time 130 stores. In 1993, the Taigi leather line was launched and in 1998, Louis Vuitton designs the first men and women’s collection under the Artistic Director, Marc Jacobs. In 2001, still in collaboration with Marc Jacobs, Vuitton released the first piece of Louis Vuitton Jewelry, named Louis Vuitton Charm Bracelet. Continuing his expansion as a luxury brand, Vuitton got to collaborate with the Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, creating the Multicolored Monogram and designing even watches in 2005.

Despite all the factors, either economic or historical, Louis Vuitton, resisted and managed to maintain the originality, simplicity and elegance both in clothes, shoes, jewelry and handbags especially.
